It’s about taking responsibility and being where you are supposed to be. Don’t send others to do you work and take your calling with the utmost seriousness and passion. When we put ourselves where we are NOT supposed to be we put ourselves in danger. After David stayed home from war, that’s when he made some big mistakes and his family went downhill. He lost all respect and he never really truly regained control of his home. Although he was seen as a man after God’s own heart (even after this period in his life) he really lost so much because of one season of war that he missed and sent others to do his bidding!
