East Texas

January 5, 2008

Today we got back from East Texas Baptist Encampment out in east Texas. It was a heck of a ride for me. There was a lot of wrestling with a lot of stuff but it wasn’t till i got home that a rush of heaviness fell on me. I don’t know what God is doing. To me it feels like there is this breaking down of the old man so that the new man can be built up according to His image. I’ve prayed many times for this and i desire it, but it does not feel good once you are in the fire.

The time spent at the camp was pretty good. We sure are luck for the hermans that cooked though. We are very GOOD because of mad Mexican cooking skillz! It was some great running arund in mud, getting dirty and all that good stuff.

Lord…. thanks for the trials of many kinds… build me up according to your purpose and give me feet that will boldly go to where you lead me and hands that give like i have plenty!
